Enquiring into the source of life and the nature of death with the most fundamental question, 'Who Am I?",  Ramana Maharshi found enlightenment at the age of 16.  He taught through silence and inquiry the Yoga of Knowledge, and emerged as one of the world's greatest spiritual teachers.  He lived on his beloved hill Arunachala in Sountern India and received all seekers who came for over a half century.  He entered Mahasamadhi in 1950, his presence still abides.  Sri Ramana, The Great Sage and Jnani, has illumined the path of Self-enquiry and knowledge for millions of seekers around the world, and continues to do so.
