Yogi (Young Nityananda)

Inspired by an early photograph of Nityananda in his teens, this sculpture shows the young yogi garlanded and sitting in meditation during the transition time from a boy named Ram into the young man named Swami Nityananda.  ‘Nityananda’ means ‘the bliss of the eternal.’  Once asked about his spiritual journey toward enlightenment, he replied, “all was completed in the womb.”
